Great memories Positive: Lots of room for a big family and the view was stunning overlooking lake Negative: It was cold in bedrooms with a thin duvet and summer sheets. Heat was set to come in at a certain time or when it got to a certain temperature so we north islanders found it cold

The best stay in NZ Positive: The view !!! Location is exceptional and the living room open space is amazing. The kitchen had everything we need to prepare exquisite meals, bbq included. Negative: The heating system wasn’t working and we didn’t receive proper information about how to fix the temperature Luckily the fire gas was working well As a suggestion to improve the kitchen equipment it’s buying coffee cup. Espresso machine was there available for making coffee but not proper coffee cups present

Positive: There are plenty of rooms and the view from the property is gorgeous. The host is very accommodating. We were granted late checkout and make out life a lot easier. Overall, a great experience! Negative: No bath room on the top floor.

As a whole, we all enjoyed our stay in the house and view from the windows is absolutely gorgeous! Positive: The view is excellent and the facilities are more than expected! Negative: The induction cooker and one of the dish washers do not function well.

Positive: We absolutely loved all the space at Matterhorn Lodge - all the rooms are super spacious and the living areas are large and cosy. Most rooms have perfect views which just add to the luxurious amenities. Perfect place for entertaining our group on a cold Winter week.
